- Phil’s Take : Process Analytics is more than a pretty graph
- James’s Take : Process Analytics is more than Analyzing the Process
- My Take : What you need is Business Rule Analytics
Now, lets see this. This was the problem statement
If I can predict that an account is at risk of going into collections, then I can route it differently.
Now, I see this as a Business Decision taken during the course of the process, and the problem needs to be redefined as
- How do I currently predict that an account is at risk?
- What are the Goals here that I want to target?
- How can I improve how I make my decisions so that I reduce my risk?
This essentially means that I would like to be able to find out how effective my business decision currently is, and can I go about it in a disciplined fashion?
So, What we need here is the Capability to analyze rules for business target/goal and identify the best policy formulation that is possible, and use this new formulation to take future decisions.
