Its been more than a month since I wrote anything on this blog. But, most of this time has been spent working on the new release, QuickRules.NET 3.1.

The website is getting updated now, and should be ready by tomorrow I guess. But here are some screenshots and notes about what is coming in.

The driving theme for this release has been to Usability. So, we have practically rewritten the entire Rule Builder. Now it feels a lot more efficient, and more modern than our earlier interface.

  • Supports Infinite undo redo
  • Single screen text like assisted editing with Intellisense

Full support for .NET 2.0 and above

Another major item is that we have moved over completely to .NET Framework 2.0 and above. So, 1.1 is officially desupported as of this release. The 2.0 support includes full and complete support for writing rules on C# Generics

This is still just a Beta 1, and I am holding out some surprise elements for Beta2 and beyond.

More on this in the later.
